WINDWARD FARM APIARY

Windward Farm Apiary is located near the Crawford River surrounded by native bush. The bees forage on a variety of native trees, wildflowers and introduced garden varieties. The honey is sustainably produced and the hives stay on sight yo minimise the exposure to disease.

Each batch of honey has a slightly different taste depending on what plants are blossoming. The honey will crystalize over time, which is a natural process and helps preserve nutrients and quality.

When you dip your spoon into the honey jar remember it takes 12 working bees their entire lifetime to produce 1 teaspoon of honey.
